Daniel J. Landiss
Electrical Engineer
Dan earned his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Washington
University in Saint Louis. He now appreciates the University's multidisciplinary
approach to engineering, as it helps him see a larger overall view of
how things work - or why they do not. After designing both analog circuits
and digital computers, Dan began teaching at Saint Louis Community College
in 1974 and spent eleven years as chairman of the Engineering and Technology
Department.
Current favorite projects include precision measurements; data collection,
filtering and analysis; and test procedure and protocol design. He believes
that multiple fields of science and engineering must be considered together
to truly understand a project, and likes to step far enough back to get
the big picture. Dan feels that MK & Associates' "investigative team"
approach is a major factor in the company's success.
