Senior Fire Origin and Cause

Mr. Ronald Gronemeyer has 42 years experience in the fire suppression, prevention and investigation fields. He has thirty-three years with the St. Louis Fire Department provided him with training and experiences in the public sector in all three phases of the fire science applications.  Mr. Gronemeyer has twelve years experience infighting fires as a firefighter wand company commander. He also has twenty-one years investigating fires in the public sector for the St. Louis Fire Department, thirteen years as the Chief Investigator. As Chief investigator, Mr. Gronemeyer was responsible for supervision and training a full time staff of investigators and management of major investigations which evolved the coordination of effort from many agencies and disciplines.

Mr. Gronemeyer also has twenty-eight years of fire investigation experience in the private sector. During his work in both public and private sectors, Mr. Gronemeyer has extensive study in the Chemistry and Electrical Theory and Principles. He has achieved degrees in Fire Protection and Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Building Code Enforcement. He teaches at the Junior College District in the Fire Protection Curriculum. Mr. Gronemeyer is certified in the State of Missouri, nationally as a Fire and Explosion Investigator and is licensed as a private investigator in several states.

Mr. Gronemeyer is recognized in both State and Federal courts as an expert in both fires and explosions. He brings to the forensic endeavor analytical skills in fire science education, training, knowledge and experience supported by a knowledgeable foundation of mechanical and electrical principles and applications along with and understanding of both organic and inorganic chemistry.
