Fire Incident Analyst

Mr. Ronald Gronemeyer has 46 years experience in the fire suppression, prevention and investigation fields. He has 33 years with the St. Louis Fire Department provided him with training and experiences in the public sector in all three phases of the fire science applications. Mr. Gronemeyer has 12 years experience as a firefighter and company commander. As Chief investigator for 13 years, Mr. Gronemeyer was responsible for supervision and training a full time staff of investigators and management of major fire and explosion investigations which evolved the coordination of effort from many agencies and disciplines.

Mr. Gronemeyer also has 32 years of fire and explosion investigation experience in the private sector. Mr. Gronemeyer has extensive study in Chemistry, and the Principles of Electrical Theory, enhancing his degrees in Fire Protection, Mechanical Engineering Technologies, and Building Code Enforcement. He is an adjunct professor of Fire Investigation, part of the Fire Protection Curriculum at St. Louis Community College. Mr. Gronemeyer possesses both state and national certifications in the field of Fire and Explosion Investigation, as well as being licensed in several states as a private investigator/detective.

Mr. Gronemeyer has expert recognition in civil and criminal cases brought before both State and Federal courts. Mr. Gronemeyer’s analytical skills in fire science are enhanced by his experience and education in mechanical, electrical and chemical principles. His multi-disciplinary knowledge enables him to reliably analyze complex fire and explosion incidents.
